Wellness Matters- Episode 5: Coping with Covid-19 w/ an essential worker (my mom!)

If you aren’t directly affected by the tragedy that this pandemic has unleashed, it is hard for some to take the threat seriously. The choices we are making every day can either save a life or infect one. Learn more about what life and death really means in a Covid-19 hospital by hearing the stories and experiences of a licensed clinical social worker and gerontologist (who also happens to be my mom). Stacey Zionts has been working 25 plus years in assisting individuals and families cope with catastrophic changes in health and lifestyle. Her practice, as defined by herself,  “is informed by the principals of mindfulness both in how I approach my clients as well as how I cope as one who provides care”.
